Annual Meeting
Each August, our franchisees participate in our Annual Meeting hosted here in Milwaukee. Our Annual Meetings are a three day event filled with learning opportunities, interaction and social events. You will listen to interesting keynote speakers, attend break out sessions that interest you, talk with other owners, share best practices, visit our ever expanding Vendor Showcase and participate in our social networking events. The biggest event of the Annual Meeting is our Awards Dinner. All franchisees are recognized for their sales levels while certain high performers are recognized with special distinction. Our awards range from our Rising Star (highest sales for first year in business), to our Business Development (increase in percentage of sales from last year to this year) to our Top Sales, and of course, the Jean Schmich Franchise of the Year award.

Regional Workshops
In addition to our Annual Meeting, we hold Regional Workshops in the winter. Each region gets together for a more interactive two-day session. These sessions provide training on new initiatives and launch new ideas and products. Again, comparing notes with other owners and understanding how they operate their businesses is a key reason that franchisees attend the Regional Workshop. You get a lot of useful information from our talented system of owners.

Franchise Advisory Council
Each region also has a representative elected to the Franchise Advisory Council (FAC) for a two-year term. They work with us at the HQ level to ensure that we hear feedback from each region. Our FAC members are given preliminary access to new ideas and are part of the process to make sure that changes and additions to our system are implemented correctly. Your FAC member is a great resource for you as a new franchisee to assist you as a mentor.

Our franchise owners take the systems that have been developed over the years and assist us in continuously improving them. Their best practices, along with all of the input that we receive from the franchisees, refresh and update our sales, marketing, and administration systems.
