Direct Mail Program
Within your custom database portion of BOB, there exists a direct mail interface in order for you to schedule your direct mail program. Once the direct mail plan is set and programmed, Nationwide owners can forget it. Our direct mail fulfillment house will take care of the details. We have created personalized brochures for each referral source group. Each brochure explains our service to the corresponding group, but makes sure to highlight the specific characteristics that makes each of these referral source groups unique. Every year you will refine your direct mail plan to target those referral source groups you haven't actively marketed. During the first year, direct mail is a key way to build the Nationwide brand. Besides brochures, we also have created color postcards that you can customize by choosing from a series of headlines, messages, and images. These oversize postcards were developed to send out to customers for repeat business or to retain your current referral sources.
Associations
A major part of the networking that you will do is with national associations at a local level. Many of the associations that we work with may be familiar to you. Nationwide has already established national relationships with many industry leading associations. In the remodeling industry, we work with the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). In the interior design world, we are members of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). For property managers, our main association is the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). We are also members of the Remodeler's Council and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). We have established relationships with all these organizations at the national level. This relationship can either mean discounts at a local level or more awareness of who Nationwide Floor & Window Coverings is with the group as a whole. These type of associations are exactly the places to go when looking for new referral sources.
National Relationships
National relationships are a big focus of our HQ marketing effort. We have established a number of national and regional relationships for our franchise owners. One of these national relationships is the largest online leads service for contractors, called ServiceMagic. As part of the Business Start Up package, a new franchise receives $500 worth of leads from ServiceMagic. These leads start the week after you come home from your classroom training. We have also established numerous national relationships with real estate companies, contractors and builders. National and regional relationships provide a foot in the door that is especially helpful when calling on new referral sources. Our National Accounts department is also actively pursuing insurance companies using our Mobile Insurance Services program. This program is the result of years of planning and utilizing the evolution of the insurance industry to our advantage.
Marketing Collateral
We have designed an extensive collection of marketing pieces that our owners use to present themselves in a branded and professional manner. Most pieces are customized based on the referral source that is being called on. Our pieces all have a distinct look and feel to them that echoes from the web site to our flyers to our business cards. In the Business Start Up package you receive a supply of everything that you need to start marketing your business.
